Lady/Tiger Topic Sentence

  2. In Frank Stockton's "The Lady or the Tiger" the lady comes out of the door because if my wife was in the arena I would rather have her live then die, even if that means he marries another women.

At the end of Frank Stockton's "Lady or the Tiger" I believe the lady came out of the door because if the princess truly loved lover boy she would want what would make him happy, and because dyeing would not make lover boy happy I think she would have pointed him to the door that would have let him live.

In the story "Lady or the Tiger" by Frank Stockton, the lady emerged out of the door because as much as the Princess hated the other woman, was barbaric like her father, and really did not care for anyone but herself, she learned to love the boy as much as he loved her and wanted him to be happy even if it meant losing him to another woman.

  17. At the end of reading "Lady of The Tiger" by Frank Stockton The lady came out because although the princess did not get to marry him she still could not have seen the man die, And she knew which door was which so she wouldn't have told him wrong unless she was extremely jealous.

  23. "The lady or the tiger" by Frank Stockton ends with the man making it out of the arena alive and married because the princess throughout the story does not focus much on the tiger being an option and even though she is half barbaric she probably would not want the boy to be killed.

  26. In Frank Stockton's "The Lady or The Tiger" I think the tiger comes out the door because throughout the story they state that the lady like her father is slightly barbaric and she may feel if she cannot have him then no one can.

  27. In Frank Stockton's "The Lady or the Tiger", I think that the answer can be both, because the princess symbolizes the tiger, by her barbarism, and the lady, by her love for the guy. There is no true answer.

The text "Lady or the Tiger" by Frank Stockton the princesses lover is put on trial and she has to decide whether to help him or to kill him, she points to the door and I think the lady comes out because she doesn't want him to die even though if he lived he wouldn't lover her and he would have to marry her instead of the princess.

  32. "Lady or the Tiger" is a story of a criminal picking between two doors, one with a beautiful lady who he would marry or a hungry tiger. The "criminal" was in a relationship with the princess who didn't want him to die or marry another women. I think that the lady came out of the door because in the short story it says in part 6 it says "and the ringing of the happy bells; when she had seen the priest, with his joyous followers".

In Frank Stockton's "Lady or the Tiger", i thought that the princess would pointed him in the direction of the lady because i thought she would love him too much to have him shredded and killed by the tiger and if she was thoughtful enough, then she'd reason that the man she loves should have a happy life, and not have it end right there because of her jealosy.
